Text: John 6:35 NET Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. The one who comes to me will never go hungry, and the one who believes in me will never be thirsty.
Happy New week. God is faithful forever.
This week, I would like to assure your heart that we have bread in Jesus. He satisfies. He said in Him we will have supply and never go hungry when we come to Him. Typically, bread represents food or anything we need in our lives. Whatever bread represents in your life, He is able to supply. The greatest hindrance to enjoying God’s best is unbelief. We may be habouring doubt in our hearts unconsciously. For many years, I would ask God for things and instead of focusing on the answer and giving thanks, I will stay in the middle and leave some room for doubt to avoid disappointment should it not come to pass. In doing that, i was standing in the middle, and was often met with disappointment. God wants us to take a position. Trust Him, He has the bread we need and can quench all hunger. if he said it, i believe it and will keep thanking Him until i see what i am expecting. I will go to Hi, I will believe Him. The assurance is that there will be no hunger and no thirst. Will you trust Him today and beyond? Let us pray.
Father we thank you for sending your Son Jesus to supply our need. Thank you because we have bread in Him. All our needs are catered for. Help us to trust you and have renewed hope in you. We come to you and are assured that we will not be hungry. Lord show us the provision you have made for us. Lead us and guide us in the way we should go this week. In Jesus name. Amen
