1Co 1:27-29 NET 27 But God chose what the world thinks foolish to shame the wise, and God chose what the world thinks weak to shame the strong. 28 God chose what is low and despised in the world, what is regarded as nothing, to set aside what is regarded as something, 29 so that no one can boast in his presence.
God has chosen us to fulfil His purpose on this earth. His ways are past finding. It may seem that waiting for God or for Him is foolish. You may be despised by people, an object of ridicule in some places, but God will overturn things by Himself. He will shame the wise and the strong for your sake. Amen.
Prayer points
- Thank God for today and for keeping you. Thank Him for your weakness and for all the inconvenience. Tell Him you believe and know He is working things out in your favour.
- Address every thought that has been weighing you down. Cancel every imagination that labels you as shameful, foolish, and weak. Low, despised, and worthless. Declare, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and God’s word will prevail in your life.
- Speak to your mind, you will not be ashamed. You are a living testimony of Jesus’ work on the cross. Lines are fallen in pleasant places for you in Jesus’ name. Every reproach is rolled away. God will confound the wise and man’s negative predictions concerning you will be disappointed.
