Pro 20:5 NET Counsel in a person’s heart is like deep water, but an understanding person draws it out.
In so many ways we need counsel in our lives. There is always a need to make decisions. The HolySpirit often sends His counsel to us in different ways but do we recognise it? Deep down in our hearts is counsel. It could come from someone else, or from places we least expect. It is a man of understanding, that draws it out. That means we need understanding to sift the counsel we need always. In this phase of life, there is the right counsel you need. Peter got a word to throw his net to the right hand side and he did. There was a great harvest and his net broke. This week, we shall pray for counsel. Let us pray.
- Thank God for the new week. Thank God for His faithfulness always. Thank Him for the Word of counsel coming to us this week.
- Pray that the Lord will open your eyes to the counsel He has been trying to bring to your mind. Pray that you will see it and run with it no matter how foolish it may look.
- Pray for boldness to take unusual steps this week. That you will walk in obedience to the Word of God. As you do, you will attract the favour of God.
- Thank God for counsel and for answered prayers. You will not be confused in Jesus name. Amen.
