Lifted Heads

Psa 3:3 KJV But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

God is our shield, a very reliable protector from every fiery dart of the adversary. We constantly face a battle in our minds as we wait on God to fulfil His promises. Here David stated God is a shield, Glory and thee one who lifts his head. Life situations may have made you bow down in shame, regret or pity. However, God’s word is coming to you now.

He is the lifter of your head! You will not walk in shame any longer. You will stand tall and your head will be lifted in glory. Amen. Let us pray.

1. Thank God for the new week. You are still breathing by grace. Thank God because He has a plan for you and is thinking of you.

2. Pray that in this new week, you will know God’s lifting. There is something about a lift from God. It will be so obvious that it is God at work in your life and no other person shares the glory.

3. Tell God you believe in His word that your head will be lifted and you are looking forward to it. Then address everything, every obstacle, in your way. Tell them to respond to God’s word. Your head is lifted in glory. No more gloom in Jesus’ name.

4. Finally, thank God for your help, for fresh grace coming your way. Thank Him for new things. You are no longer covered in shame but will sing the victory song In Jesus’ name. Amen!
