2Pe 3:18 NET But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.
God has called us to an ever-increasing life in Him. Every day, there is room for growth and knowledge if we engage with the word of God and consciously apply the word in all our endeavours. As we trust God for our spouses, do you feel you are growing in grace and knowledge? Ensure you are adding knowledge to what have already. It may be spiritual, mental, physical, etc. That is essential to withstand all the onslaught of life. This week, we will focus on growth in all areas. Are you experiencing growth in any way? Let’s thank God for it.
1. Thank God for His grace at work in you. He expects us to grow in our walk with Him. Thank Him for His love deposited in you. He is a good God.
2. Ask for a hunger in your heart for growth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Sometimes, life becomes stale while waiting and you don’t have any passion for anything. So ask for a hunger and fresh passion for growth. Remember to note this area of your life requiring growth.
3. Ask God to send you helpers to ensure your growth. Men and women with divine assignments to fulfil in your life. Not to exploit you, but to help you blossom. Pray that you will identify them and not send them away.
4. Finally, thank God for growth and lookout for changes in this week as you attempt to add to yourself.
NB: Make a list of those areas you have prayed about and what you expect to see in the near future. Your spiritual life will be enriched by studying the word and prayer.
