Jos 8:14 NHEB And it happened, when the king of Ai saw it, that he hurried and rose up early, and the men of the city went out to engage them directly in battle, he and all his people, to the meeting place in front of the Arabah; but he did not know that there was an ambush against him behind the city.
It is another Monday again. Today, we will pray with the above verse focusing on decision making and haste. The word of God makes us understand that he who believes will not make haste. We are often under pressure to decide, but we want God to lead us to green pastures. We will not make haste. Let us pray.
1. Let us thank God for always being there for us and for His Word.
2. The king of Ai saw and hurried. He didn’t know there was an ambush. Pray that God will give you spiritual insight beyond what the physical eyes can see.
3. Pray that you will not make hasty decisions that will cost you your fortune.
4. Pray for judgement this week and beyond. That God will guide you to make wise and productive judgements that your profiting will appear to all men.
5. Finally declare that because you believe, you will not make haste. You will not make hasty decisions, you have spiritual insight and judgement in Jesus’ name. Amen.
