Mat 11:28 KJV Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
This week, we shall focus on rest for our souls. The Lord wants us to rest from our labour, heavy heart and thoughts. All these hinder us from resting in Him. I will rather choose a lightweight than a heavy load. Let us respond to a call to rest. Let us pray
1. Thank God for the new week. God cares about us and wants to give us rest on every side.
2. Let us tell God we are responding to His call to rest. Place your worries,and concern for the future into God’s hands. Tell Him you trust in His unfailing love.
3. Pray for rest from everything you face that is beyond your control. Tell God to show up in His power and might.
4. Thank God for rest in your soul. You will not carry any burden but will stay light in Jesus’ name. Amen.
