Hab 2:3 KJV For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
We are encouraged today from the book of Hab. to wait on the Lord. That means, keep your eyes on Him. Focus on His face. Waiting for something you desire can be very difficult. In those times, doubt comes to our hearts sometimes and we feel nothing is happening. We are reminded that if God said it, He will do it. He will not lie over anything. He is not about to start now. So let us hold on and keep trusting.
- Thank God for sustenance. If it hasn’t been God, a lot of us will not be standing. It is His mercies alone keeping us.
- Pray for grace to wait for the promise. Be definite about the promise. Your spouse, wedding etc. Thank Him because you no longer walk in darkness. Your mind is enlightened to know him. God has connected you both spiritually and physically. This is a prayer of faith.
- Pray that every unnecessary wait in your should end. Declare that every delay or denial in your life has ended. Pray that you will not miss what God has in store for you. That you will see as God sees.
- Finally, thank God because He is a good father. Your life radiates God’s word and you will be a living proof that Jesus saves. Amen.
